3 Days Masai Mara by Flight

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara – Wildlife and Scenic Views
Start your adventure with an early morning flight from Nairobi to the Masai Mara, an iconic safari destination known for its rich wildlife and stunning landscapes. On arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by a driver and transferred to your lodge or camp for check-in and lunch. Afterward, embark on your first afternoon game drive, exploring the vast savannah of the Masai Mara, home to the Big Five (lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos), as well as cheetahs, zebras, and wildebeests. As the sun sets, enjoy a spectacular view of the Mara’s golden plains. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight. Depending on your preference, stay at a luxury camp like Mara Intrepids, Mara Serena Safari Lodge, or a standard lodge such as Mara Simba Lodge or Keekorok Lodge.

Day 2: Masai Mara – Full Day Safari Adventure
Begin the day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. This is the best time to spot predators like lions and cheetahs on the prowl, as well as other animals such as elephants and giraffes. Return to the lodge for breakfast, followed by another thrilling game drive in the afternoon. Depending on the time of year, you might witness the Great Migration, a spectacular natural phenomenon where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move across the plains in search of food and water. Visit the Mara River, where crocodiles and hippos are commonly seen. You can also opt for a visit to a Maasai village to learn about the Maasai people’s culture and traditions. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Nairobi – Final Game Drive and Departure
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive, capturing your last wildlife moments before heading back to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi. Depending on your flight time, you may have the opportunity to take one last scenic view of the Mara. Arrive back in Nairobi by midday or afternoon, marking the end of your 3-day Masai Mara safari.
